Parrots are one of the few mobs that still cannot breed. This proposal adds their full life cycle to the game, making it much easier to collect color variants and making interactions with them more rewarding.
Proposal Mechanics:
Breeding: Parrots can be bred using Melon Seeds.
Parrot Eggs: After breeding, the mob lays small, stackable eggs (up to 4 per block), functioning similarly to sea turtle eggs.
The Chick:
Visual: They follow the most recent baby bird model (like the new chicks): the body and head are a single integrated cubic block, featuring small wings on the sides. They share their parents' colors and feature a signature larger feather on top of the head.
Behavior: They only perform short, gliding flights to make them easier for the player to manage.
Taming: The chick is not born tamed. The player must earn the chick's trust and tame it individually, even if the parents are already tamed.
Why this is good for the game:
Easier Acquisition: Allows players to get specific colors without relying solely on the luck of natural jungle spawns.
Complete Biological Cycle: Brings parrots up to the game's current standard of polish.
Aesthetics and Immersion: Small eggs and cubic chicks add life and important visual details to jungle biomes and player bases.
