The Breeze has unique combat mechanics that are underutilized outside of Trial Chambers. Integrating this mob into the Overworld raises the game's challenge level, making open-field survival more technical and strategic.
Proposal Rules:
Location: Exclusive spawn in open biomes: Plains, Sunflower Plains, and High Altitudes (Peaks and Slopes).
Frequency: Solitary and uncommon spawn on clear nights. During thunderstorms, the spawn rate increases, making the mob a frequent and thematic encounter under severe weather conditions.
Impact on Gameplay:
Strategic Combat: The presence of the Breeze in open fields forces the player to manage positioning and shield usage against multiple types of projectiles, breaking the monotony of fighting zombies and skeletons.
Increased Overall Difficulty: Currently, night survival quickly becomes predictable. The Breeze introduces a movement variable that prevents the player from standing still, requiring quick reactions in biomes previously considered too safe or easy.
Biome and Weather Cohesion: It utilizes the nature of a wind-based mob in locations where the element is thematic. The increased spawn during storms creates an atmosphere of real danger, rewarding players who prepare for the weather.
