Hello Minecraft Team,
Thank you for the amazing work you continue to do on Minecraft. It’s a game that brings players together, which is why I wanted to share this idea.
I currently host a Minecraft Bedrock server for around 20 friends. On PC, everything works perfectly, but on consoles (Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch), there is a major limitation: players cannot manually add servers in-game, unlike on PC.
When it came time to prepare the map with my moderators, they were unable to join because console editions do not have a server list interface. We tried using Bedrock Together through mobile devices, but it causes many issues such as connection errors and instability, making it unreliable for serious projects.
Adding a native “Add Server” option directly on Bedrock console editions would greatly improve accessibility, allow better moderation, and create a fairer multiplayer experience across platforms. It would also reduce the need for unstable third-party solutions.
Minecraft is about creativity and collaboration, and this feature would help console players fully participate in community projects.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Kind regards,
A passionate Bedrock player
