I am suggesting a new hostile mob called the Zombie Wolf. It would be a strong, undead wolf found at night with a 5 percent chance of spawning
Features:
Appearance: Patchy fur, missing eyes, and exposed bones. It growls constantly.
Behavior: It is naturally hostile to players and will stalk them silently before attacking.
Taming: Players can tame it by feeding it 10 Rotten Flesh. This is risky because the wolf will still try to kill you while you feed it.
Companion Abilities: Once tamed, it will kill passive mobs for food and attack hostile mobs to protect you. It is also very effective in PVP against other players.
Durability: As an undead creature, it is immune to drowning, but it still takes damage from fall damage, fire, and lava.
Progression: You can feed a tamed wolf 20 Rotten Flesh to slightly increase its max health and damage. This can be repeated to make it a stronger guardian over time.
Multiplayer Bribe Mechanic: If another player has already tamed a Zombie Wolf, you can feed that wolf 30 Rotten Flesh to make it neutral towards you, preventing it from attacking you for a limited time.
Why this adds to Minecraft:
This gives a very useful purpose to Rotten Flesh in the late game. It also provides a challenging, "edgier" pet for players who want a powerful guardian for both survival and PVP.
