Hello Mojang Team,
I am a Minecraft Bedrock player on Android. I want to share feedback about touch controls on mobile.
On mobile, attack, jump, sneak, and use buttons are limited to one button only. Players cannot add duplicate buttons for the same action. UI resource packs can only change layout and visuals. They cannot add new control buttons. Add-ons and third party launchers also have no access to touch input.
This causes real problems. • Mobile PvP is not balanced against controller and keyboard players. • Fast movement is hard because fingers are limited. • Combat and parkour feel less responsive. • Multiplayer gameplay feels unfair for mobile users.
Many other mobile games already support duplicate buttons and advanced control customization. Players can adjust controls based on their play style. Minecraft Bedrock mobile does not offer this flexibility yet.
My suggestions. • Allow players to add multiple buttons for the same action. • Add an advanced touch control editor in settings. • Open touch control access for UI resource packs. • Provide presets for PvP and parkour.
Mobile players are a big part of the Bedrock community. Improving touch controls would greatly improve comfort and fairness across platforms.
Thank you for taking the time to read this feedback.
