Update the spiders. Brown and pale spider.

Why not add a new spider variety, a brown spider (with a different eye color), that would be neutral and wouldn't attack the player, even at night. It could spin webs in the treetops.

It would live in a new biome – Spider Oak Dark Forest

Also, you could add a pale spider variety, which, instead of webs, would leave resin that would appear when it hits the player.

And in addition, you could diversify the spiders, giving them the ability to create webs underneath themselves, which would only last for a short time and then collapse.

It also has the ability to spit webs at the player when attacking them. However, after a few seconds, the webs collapse.
