The /inv command allows you to interact with inventory. /invsee /inv clear

The /inventory command allows you to interact with your inventory.
Its shorthand is /inv
 
Shows the player's inventory
/inv see (player)
Shows the player's ender chest
/inv open (player)
Shows whether the player has an item
/inv item (player)
 
Clears the player's inventory
/inv clear (player)
Opens the trash bin where you can dump all trash
/inv trash (player)
 
Converts all items in the inventory into solid blocks
/inv condense (player)
Increases the total number of all items to 99
/inv count (player) 99
Restores the durability of all items
/inv repair (player)
Enchants all items in the inventory
/inv enchant (player)
Adds an effect to all potions in the inventory
/inv potion (player)

 

Similar, but only for the object in the hands /hand

    Some of these are definitely great, but some are either completely useless or very niche. For example, /inv clear is already a thing in the form of /clear. Also, I think /inv count would be confined to the item's stack size if it were to be added. Overall, good suggestion!
