The biggest, and most annoying, discrepancy between Minecraft Bedrock and Java is redstone.
While Java's redstone is a bit more laggy, it works perfectly and does not feel sluggish in any way.
But, Minecraft Bedrock, while being way more optimised, feels sluggish, laggy, and terrible to play.
Why is that? Slow redstone components that only updates in specific ticks (avoids lag, but doesn't have a good feel and makes redstone random, which absolutely sucks. Redstone SHOULD be deterministic), chunk loaders that simply don't work, slow piston animations... It all simply feels bad.
My suggestion? Add chunk loading, fix the issue where some redstone components only update in specific ticks, add redstone updating order from Java to Bedrock. It improves parity, makes the community happier and healthier, and make it so players feel more satisfied playing bedrock and may even spend more money on marketplace. It's a win-win.
