End: Shards of Silence is a small update that brings life to the Outer End while keeping its quiet mood. It adds rare Luminous End Islets, about 1.5x larger than small islands, covered in Endbloom Grass. This grass has crystal veins, can't spread or be farmed, and marks them as landmarks. Across End islands, End Stone boulders generate in rounded or arrow formations, adding terrain variety. Two new End trees are added, including a rare EnderDran. EnderDran wood placed in a full 3x3 grid yields four Ender Pearls, yielding a renewable pearl source. Luminous Islets host the Luminel, a peaceful semi-transparent creature with a glowing core tamed by Endbloom Seeds. The islets are guarded by the Gravisk, a neutral protector that becomes hostile only if a player destroys three Endbloom blocks within 25 blocks or attacks a Luminel. When angered, Gravisk uses gravity pulses to push players toward the void and fires spinning fragments; it drops a Gravitic Shard and can be calmed with seeds. A hidden recipe of Gravitic and Lumin Shards creates a Teleport Pearl. Used on a tamed Luminel, the pearl becomes a collar that teleports the player to their pet on void fall. Visuals favor soft purple glow crystal accents; rewards are utility/cosmetic! This update adds atmosphere, exploration choices, and survival mechanics without power creep.
