With mostly every other mob having different variations, I feel it’s time that we give cousins to our slow moving friend the turtle. Starting with the Lava sinking turtle, this turtle is found primarily in the nether lava lakes. It mostly serves as like a lava lily pad, allowing players to jump on and stand on their backs for up to 3 seconds when not crouching. Crouch to remain standing without turtle sinking. After standing on a Lava turtle for 3 seconds it will sink into the lava for 3 more seconds before it pops back up again. They can be feed and breed with nether wart. Babies drop a unique scute that when put together makes a lava sinking helmet, making the player move faster and resist burning in lava. Next the sculk snapping turtle, which can be found in sculked biomes and thrives in acid. Just like it’s lava counter part it can be used as a lily pad. It gets very hostile and attacks if you try swimming in the acid. Baby’s versions can drop their unique scutes for the the toxic turtle helmet, which allows makes you acid proof and sculk snapping turtles passive towards you. Feed and breed with sculk veins. Next, the wither tortoise. The wither tortoise is significantly smaller than the rest previously mentioned above. They simply serve as a moving wither rose and eats them to breed. They drop their scutes upon being killed, it’s used to craft the wither touch helmet. Wither touch inflicts a small 3 block radius around you with withering, affecting any mob that enters it
