Firstly this may be the wrong section however I feel it applies to this section.
It is kind of painful to make songs in the game with note blocks. I would love to see a graphic user interface that allows you to select 0-24 semitones via a visual of a keyboard with the keys labeled the musical note as well as the relative number of semitones from F# as it currently sets. Or even better yet, upon adding this feature add at least one more octave to all instruments 2 more octaves would be a huge deal. It would also be awesome if you could adjust the distance a note block is audible. Maybe a toggleable slider from standard to normalize level at 8, 16, 32, 48, and 64 block radius (then standard audio fade beyond that threshold) from player slider in accessibility for large loops or songs so they are heard at the same reference volume instead of trailing off and on as it moves away from the character and back also keeps coding lean for playability. Also if there was an adjustable toggleable sustain function for the noteblock allowing for constant sound to be played for several ticks of delay. Or possibly the entire time a block is powered(probably have a max sustain noteblocks slider too to prevent crashes from 50 noteblocks playing notes at once).
In addition to this idea I feel that it may also be useful to have a similar feature for repeaters a GUI and additional delay settings maybe 0, 1/4, 1/3, 1/2 tick 1 through 16 ticks of delay.
Probably could make a tuning fork item
