Easy isn’t easy, mob spawning

The game has been out for well over a decade, yet still if I start a new game on easy then by day two while the sun is out, I’m trying to collect wood and there’s a minimum of 3 creepers, 8 skeleton archers and 5 zombies chasing me because the shade of the trees. My thoughts are just that this can be very frustrating to new players or just people starting on a new seed. I feel like perhaps the amount spawned should be lessened on easy difficulty.
