Description:
I suggest adding the Wild Yak to the Frozen Peaks. This mob is a mountain version of the camel and cow, making high-altitude survival fully self-sufficient.
New Mechanics: Taming and Transport
Taming: Players can tame a Wild Yak using Cloudberries.
Two-Player Mount: Like a Camel, the Yak can carry two players at once, making it perfect for mountain expeditions with friends.
Cargo Carrier: Alternatively, you can equip the Yak with Chests. Due to its size, it can carry more materials than a donkey, helping players move their entire base across snowy peaks.
All-Terrain: The Yak never sinks in Powder Snow and doesn't slide on ice, making it the safest transport in the highlands.
Resources (Universal Materials):
Yak Wool: Works exactly like sheep wool. Use it to craft Beds, banners, and carpets. It has a unique fluffy texture.
Yak Hide: Works exactly like leather. Use it to craft Books, Item Frames, and Armor.
Yak Meat: A high-nutrition food source. Cooked Yak Steak restores 8 Hunger points.
Why this?
The Yak is not just a mob; it’s a mountain vehicle. It combines the utility of a camel with the resources of a cow and sheep. It gives players a reason to live in the mountains and provides a unique way to transport materials through dangerous, snowy terrain.
