Trail ruins aren't very interesting these days; many people completely ignore them, and they should have more useful items inside to enrich exploration. Here are some of my ideas to make them a relevant structure. I think that besides improving the loot, they should have more exclusive items. I've even thought of an exclusive work-table to give to a villager I like to call a "ceramist" which would allow them to trade Pottery Sherds, since almost no one takes the time to look for them. Another idea I have is that the brush could be enchanted with Fortune and Efficiency. The reason for Efficiency is obvious, but Fortune could give loot that can't be obtained without it in the trail ruins, loot such as:
- Diamond blocks.
- Enchantments such as repair, among others.
- Diamond horse armor.
- Egg for The great hunger
- Etc.
The aforementioned worktable could be used to paint colored vases, and the pottery sherd could be painted separately from the vase, meaning that both could have different colors or even a gradient, as a suggestion, the interface of this work-table would be similar to that of the smithing table.
The Great Hunger: While the original purpose of this mob has been replaced by the grindstone, we can give it another purpose: instead of disenchanting items, its large mouth could break and uncraft them. This mob would be obtained in the style of the sniffer, with a placeable egg that would undoubtedly add more life to this structure.
