Just like the Minecraft movie the piglins used nether wart to stop the zombification effect which should be a feature in Minecraft to transfer piglins to barter with in the overworld maybe the nether wart stops the zombification in a 3x3 area or using the crimson nylium with a nether wart placed on it with the piglin standing on the block, just a neat feature to add that relates to the movie!
