Parrots need WAY more love!!

parrots are real life birds yeah? make them more real life! Parrots are perching birds, and in real life, if theyre left on flat surfaces (in this case unnatural blocks) they can develop foot issues. parrots will sit only on compatible blocks (wood and leaves). actual perches added to the game would give parrots a cute, out of the way spot to sit, especially out of the way of mobs. this could just be a reused/modified end rod or lightning rod texture. maybe even adding 'hollow logs' that parrots can go into and maybe cats! (baby parrot spot?)

cmon... baby update and no baby parrots? im sure we could do that! we have baby chickens! baby parrots are completely defenseless, so no spawning in the wild, after breeding it could be an inventory item that grows over time.

when the player is attacked by mobs while the parrot is on their shoulder, they fly off and start making noises to instantly lure the mob away, staying out of reach. this gives the player a few moments to kill the mob, when the player hits the mob, it ignores the parrot and goes back to being hostile to the player. mobs possibly show no interest in the parrot even chasing noise, looking for the mob (like villager). another potential use against some mobs, is making a noise of what deters them, like cats for creepers and dogs for skeletons more parrot varieties would be cool too! and parrots don't always live in the jungle! maybe more biomes?
