Mesa biome Wild West style village

Hey, I feel like the mesa biome is really rare and beautiful to look at. However, I don’t believe there is any real incentive to seek it out or much to do there. My proposition is to make a Wild West style village- either with villagers or in an abandoned/ pillaged style where all the villagers got taken out by outlaws. And where the mobs wear cowboy hats and stuff like that. I feel like that would turn it from arguably the least used to the coolest by far. Thanks for your consideration
