Glare ( New Purpose for Ore Detection with a Glowing Indicator )

Imagine a metal detector that floats and can detect various ores by glowing in the corresponding color of the hidden ore nearby. This glowing effect is referred to as the "Glare," which can be activated by placing a carved pumpkin on any type of leaf block. The glare can only float just above the ground; it is unable to fly overhead. When the Glare senses an ore that is too far above or below it, the Glare sends small colored dots from its detection function to the detected ore while glowing in that ore's specific color. Additionally, it emits a growling sound as an audio indicator. However, the Glare cannot detect ores that are hidden inside chests; it only identifies ores that can be mined. This feature enhances exploration while still maintaining the challenge of loot chests and deceptive blocks like gravel and sand. The Glare Mob can be crafted and will float alongside you, helping you locate hidden ores that are out of sight. When it detects an ore nearby or just out of reach, it glows and growls as an alert.
