With the most recent baby mob textures, I just had the idea of making more mobs work similarly to how the tadpole grows up. We already have biome variations of mobs: cold, warm, and neutral. So having those baby mobs growing up in different biomes could create a new effect to already existing animals, such as-
Baby pigs growing up in swamps, having their grown-up variation of the pig, but with added mud covered with their bodies.
Baby chickens growing up in beaches, having their feathers and movement be better at swimming, looking like Swans or ducks
Baby cows growing up in flower bays, having their grown-up variations a different type of Moobloom flower.
Their functionality and what each new version of what a mob can do isn't what this post's priority is, but having the idea of where an animal lives and that biome affecting each of their new evolution traits & appearances.
