I propose adding official gyroscope API support to Bedrock Edition's @minecraft/server module.
Why? Mobile players lack immersive gyro controls. Crucially, the NetEase version has had stable gyro APIs (e.g., GyroSensorChangedClientEvent) since March 2024. This creates an imbalance, hindering international creators and leaving mobile players behind.
Proposal: Add APIs similar to NetEase's:
1. A gyroSensorChanged event for real-time data.
2. Methods to enable/disable the sensor and set update frequency.
This enables add-ons with motion controls for aiming, puzzles, vehicles, etc.
Benefits:
1. Better Mobile Experience: More immersive and precise control for combat, building, and exploration.
2. Empower Creators: Unlocks new gameplay possibilities beyond touch and controller.
3. Unify Standards: Bridges the feature gap between international and NetEase versions for easier cross-region development.
4. Use Native Hardware: Naturally enhances mobile gameplay by leveraging standard sensors.
Feasibility: Proven stable for over a year in the NetEase version.
