Dear Mojang Studios and Minecraft Development Team,
I am a PlayStation 5 player writing to request stronger feature parity between Minecraft Bedrock Edition and Java Edition.
While Bedrock Edition performs well on consoles, many gameplay systems feel limited or less polished compared to Java. Areas such as redstone consistency, combat mechanics, server tools, and customization options reduce creativity and long-term enjoyment for console players. Java Edition is often praised for its depth, flexibility, and strong community-driven features, which many Bedrock players feel are missing.
Rather than asking for Java Edition itself, many console players would like Bedrock to adopt more Java-style mechanics and options. Improvements such as more consistent redstone behavior, optional Java-style combat, expanded customization, and deeper mod or add-on support would greatly improve the Bedrock experience without harming accessibility or cross-platform play.
Minecraft has always been about creativity and player choice. Bringing more Java-level features into Bedrock Edition would help unify the community and make the console experience feel more complete.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback.
Sincerely,
A Minecraft Bedrock Player on PS5
