Option to clone world in Java edition

An option to clone your world would be good, not just to re-create it without keeping all the stuff you did. It should be like the copy world option in Bedrock edition. That way, you can try new snapshots and stuff without risking world corruption. I know you can do it manually in the files but this would just be a change no one would hate.
