New mobs and cooking.

I think you should add brown bears, ducks, and that pigs could have a small chance to dig up truffles.

Some new cooking recipes I think would fit nicely in vanilla minecraft would be fried eggs , honey pudding, truffle and pork sandwich and roasted duck.

I also think that you should make the recipe for mushroom soup NOT include red mushroom as in real life, red mushrooms are poisonous and it could give ideas to small children and that you should make it using brown mushrooms, milk and new white mushrooms. Happy new year!
