Currently, when Point Light / Vibrant Visuals are enabled in Minecraft Bedrock, the vanilla lighting system still applies at full intensity.
This causes several visual issues:
Vanilla lighting overlaps with point lights, reducing contrast and depth.
Small light sources (like torches) lose realism because the vanilla light radius is too strong.
Caves feel flatter and less immersive, even though point lights are meant to improve atmosphere and realism.
Suggestion: When Point Light / Vibrant Visuals are enabled:
Reduce the intensity or radius of vanilla lighting, OR
Allow point lights to visually override vanilla lighting, OR
Add a slider or option to scale vanilla lighting strength when using the new lighting system.
This would significantly improve visual clarity, immersion, and realism—especially in caves and dark environments—without removing vanilla lighting completely
