baby animals, specifically cows should not have horns

In the new snapshot they're reworking the textures of baby animals. I think this is a great opportunity to get hornless baby cows. It takes a long time for a cow to grow horns especially as curved upwards as they are in game. Not even very young adult cows have that nice horns. I suggest giving them ears instead. Cows have very interesting and pronounced ears that can move independently of one another. It would still give the cow head depth but wouldn't make them look like just shrunk down adults

    oh my gosh a baby cow with floppy ears would be the cutest! this makes a lot of sense too, love it!

    100%, if Mojang wants to go the education route this absolutely needs to be changed
