As of Wednesday, January 7, 2026, Mojang have released a drop that changes the models, sounds, and textures of many baby mobs.
But, one of the mobs that was not included was the baby horse. And, this drop would likely be the perfect time for them to implement a new model and texture for them.
(Maybe even work on different breeds some more...but honestly, a reworked baby horse would be more than enough for me.)
