Muddy pig this opportunnity?

We've been asking for this CONSTANTLY for the last 6 or 7 years.

Since 2019/2020 when we saw it in Minecraft Earth.

Mojang already added Glow Squids, and horned cows inspired on Minecraft Earth, why not this?

When Mojang added the mud block and its respective mangrove biome, it was the perfect opportunity, but they missed it. So why not this time? It looks like it will be a pretty simple and light drop, focused specifically on farm animals.

Come on, we've been asking for this for 6 or 7 years.

How would I implement it based on what we've seen in vanilla:

Just like a zombie can change state by being left in water for a while, the same thing could happen to a pig when it stands on mud blocks or in the swamp or mangrove biome for a while. Simply add that mud on top of its skin, like sheep change color with a dye, or how animal variants change based on biomes, and the mud would disappear when it rains or when the pig touches water.

just like the copper golem easter egg when you place a flower on its antenna.
