The new baby-skins are fine, just make them have silly eyes, like adults.

The charm and appeal of Minecraft animal skins and faces lies in their simplicity, but above all, in their silly expressions, haha.

I suppose that was the intention of the designers, and most likely, that silly yet endearing face is what made them so lovable.

So, the new skins are perfect; just make their eyes wider apart. just like adults.

The same thing is happening as with the armadillo's eyes. People asked for that change. And people loved the axolotls the first time they saw them; Mojang nailed it. It was the wide-set eyes, that silly, simple, yet endearing face.
