    True
    Your points are quite good
    I share the same opinion
They look like knock off action and stuff models

There are some more issues with the new Rabbit model:

    • Their feet are too splayed out (think of a v shape or think of how the legs of mounted mobs look like)
    • The jumping animation is frankly not good. For how short their hop is, their feet spread too far back.
    • Their feet are too small.
    • Their torso is too large especially in comparison to their feet.
    • They're body experience too much movement in regards to their animations. This causes them to look like a blurry mess or a blob when they hop around.

If Mojang wants to get rid of mixels in the Rabbit Model, they should just make slight adjustments to the old model like changing the size, limb thickness, etc. But this new Rabbit model is just not it.

In regards to the body shape of the new Rabbit, it is more representative of the household pet (often referred to as a "bunny") than the typical wild rabbit. Wild rabbits are slimmer and have sharper features (aka the old model). Household rabbits are softer and rounder (aka the new model).

You can easily tell which rabbit is wild and which is a household pet based on those details, and clearly the new Rabbit model is akin to the appearance of the household pet when it should look like a wild rabbit especially considering where they spawn in game.

I actually really like the new bunny model. Whoever made this one did a great job.

Definitely agree. The new rabbit model is definitely a downgrade. It doesn't fit the theme of Minecraft at all. This is almost as bad as making the creepers have joints in their legs and body! Please change this Mojang.

Just the rabbit doesn't look good

It's unreasonable to suggest that all minecraft mob animations should be updated at once. Updating animations can only be done bit by bit so there's bound to be some style inconsistencies.

I'd like to add that new rabbit model is tooo big and tooo chunky and now they look over-feed hose rabbit even tho they are wild.

Legends:Rabbit look better then whatever this is.

I feel like the only thing that the “over-animated” point really applies to is the random idle animation to does on Bedrock, especially since, iirc, no other mob in the game has that. Imo the other animations are fine.

I struggle to understand what you mean by there being “too many overly-splanted (or rotated) shapes”, since the only rotated shapes are the hind legs and the main body, the latter being something that was already part of the original model.

Agree on the model feeling clunky. I like the baby design but not the adult!

the jumping is slow and the model looks worse, i want my cute small fast rabbits to stay. not be replaced by this remodel that i hate. it should be a separate mob instead of remodeling the old design. old rabbits are wayyyyyy cuter in my opinion. please mojang do not change the old rabbits..

Agreed. I also think that the new rabbits look much more like pet rabbits than wild rabbits, which aren't as fluffy. For a game that takes so much pride in its representation of wildlife, it seems unusual for such a big oversight to slip through the gaps like this.

The bunnies are WAY too big. They don't fit in the pen anymore. When I visited the pens after the update, there were bunnies everywhere except in the double high pens. The stray cats had fun. Also, Somehow the new chickens broke my raw chicken machine. Not a fan of this update at all. It seems the last couple of years of updates have been strictly directed to attracting more children to the game...
