Shard forging

once you defeat the boss from somewhere where a shard from the orb of dominance has corrupted you get the shard ,when you defeat the arch illager you get the stick from his staff and with it you can open the door to a temple in your camp inside you can place the shards on their respective podium opening up a new room in each of the rooms you can place a piece of weaponry or armour and pay some gold emeralds and enchantment points to forge them into a themed unique version like if you forge a rapier with the end shard it becomes a new unique version of the rapier themed around the end. Some ideas for weapons: Rapier and end: the fangs of the void a dual wield with extremely high knockback on the last hit of the combo Anchor and gale mountain an anchor on a chain that reduces fall damage by swing it like a lasso above your head when your falling
