Wall Climbing: If a player is above ground level, the Creaking should be able to silently climb vertical surfaces while not being looked at. This prevents players from simply "towering up" to stay safe.
Leaping from Shadows: The Creaking could perform long leaps between Pale Oak trees when the player looks away, creating a terrifying sense of being surrounded.
2. Psychological Pressure and Audio cues
Sound Mimicry: The Creaking could mimic sounds like the player’s own footsteps, chests opening, or blocks breaking behind them to trick the player into turning around.
The Heart's Pulse: As the Creaking gets closer, the player should hear an intensifying heartbeat or a low hum emanating from the hidden Creaking Heart.
3. "Freeze" Mechanic Enhancements
Distance-Based Movement: Instead of a total stop, the Creaking could move very slowly if the player is far away, forcing the player to close the distance to fully "freeze" it.
Gaze Distortion: Staring at the Creaking for too long or making physical contact could trigger a brief "Darkness" effect, allowing the mob to reposition instantly.
4. Environmental Interaction
Perfect Camouflage: When stationary, the Creaking’s texture could blend perfectly with Pale Oak logs, making it nearly invisible without a direct light source.
