Dear Minecraft / Mojang Team,
I would like to sincerely thank you for Minecraft Dungeons. I have been playing the game since shortly after its release and remain a big fan to this day.
Minecraft Dungeons also holds a special personal value for me, as health-related reasons have taught me how meaningful games can be that provide long-term joy and positive distraction.
While I do not fully know why further development of the game was discontinued, you certainly had your valid reasons. Still, I would like to emphasize that Minecraft Dungeons has never truly lost its relevance for many players, myself included.
Even though no further updates are officially planned, I would like to make a friendly request, especially considering the now released Nintendo Switch 2. Since Nintendo has made its dev kit publicly available for third-party developers, hardware limitations should no longer be a major obstacle.
If organizationally possible, a performance or upgrade patch would be greatly appreciated. More stable or unlocked 60 FPS and a higher resolution would noticeably improve the experience on the new hardware and would be a big and meaningful thank-you to the loyal fan base.
Even after all these years, I still see great potential in Minecraft Dungeons. Especially this year, player numbers have risen again, and the community has brought new life back into the game.
Thank you very much for your time, for reading this message, and for all the work you have put into this world.
Kind regards,
Michi
