The Crusher:
A massive (3x3x5) neutral beast. The largest non-Ender-dragon creature. Crashers are large grey sniffer relatives, with a large nose horn and a tail club, like sniffers they have six legs and ears. They’re bio-electric, and when charged their armor spikes turn amethyst color and the beast turns purple, normally they’re a grey-green with their spikes being bone color.
Obtaining & Taming & Breeding:
- Eggs: Found on new Deep Dark altars. To hatch, you need to crack the outer shell. Use a Mace (10+ block fall)/(200+ anvil fall)(peaceful) or adult Crasher will naturally crack the outer shell. Once cracked it needs a 7-day hatch time.
- Taming: Use Sparkweed, or its seeds. New Sniffer flower.
- Sparkweed Utility: Emits a Redstone signal (strength 12) when triggered. Sparkweed is triggered when interacted with, or when redstone signals pulse through it. They can only be bred when charged, they can be bred with Sparkweed or Redstone.
Usage: Mining and attacking:
- While mounted: the Jump key triggers a tail swing 3x5x1 (3s cooldown). This also doubles as an attack that deals 10 damage without augmentation.
- Amethyst harvesting: in geodes, harvests mature Amethyst clusters without damaging Budding blocks.

Charged State: Consumes Amethyst shards (stores 4) for a 20s boost, gaining an extra 20% HP and Damage. The Crasher Club: Recipe: 1 Heavy Core, 2 Amethyst shards, 6 Obsidian blocks. Benefit: Doubles swing speed and damage. Allows the Crusher to defend better and mine Obsidian.
