With the addition of the spear, which does exponential damage based on the speed of the player wielding it, I think that the offense side of combat has gotten a bit too powerful. Granted, before the mace was added, fights between experienced PVPers lasted until one ran out of supplies, thereby making PVP less fun. However, the mace, and now the spear, can one or two-shot a player with the best armor in the game. I think that there should be a new material added to the game with which a player can make a bouncy armor of some sort. This armor would gain exponential defense based on the speed difference between the attacker and the player being attacked, and would bounce the attacker away from the player being attacked. However, this bouncy armor would not be nearly as effective against normal swords and axes. I think that this armor could make PVP very interesting, as a player might decide to carry it and a normal set of armor to deal with any PVP scenario. This would open a world of possible kits.
