Trusting Foxes should have increased health points like the wolf

Foxes attack certain mobs that attack the player. That means they have lots of opportunity to take high damage, yet they only have 10 measly health points, a pittance. 2 or 3 whacks from a focused zombie & it's all over. It is ridiculously difficult to breed foxes & super painful to watch a your trusting buddy die. You canny equip them with armour, I get that, an even better reason they should get at least 20 if not 40 health points, just like a tamed wolf. I usually save my games regularly, but I gapped over the holidays & wouldn't ya know...
