Minecraft Bedrock on mobile needs urgent improvements to its on-screen controls to ensure fairness, comfort, and feature parity with other platforms.
First, Bedrock mobile should include an F5 / perspective toggle button that can be moved and resized, just like other touch controls. Changing fast the camera view is essential for building, PvP, and general awareness, and mobile players should not be forced to click that tiny eye button for such a basic action.
Second, mobile players need dedicated buttons to move the hotbar selection left or right. Relying only on clicking a small slot gestures is imprecise, slow, and frustrating, especially in combat or fast gameplay situations. Simple left/right hotbar buttons would greatly improve accuracy and accessibility.
Finally, there must be a drop item button on mobile. Dropping items quickly is a core Minecraft action used in inventory management, PvP, multiplayer interactions, and speedrunning. Not having a direct drop button puts mobile players at a clear disadvantage compared to other platforms.
These features already exist conceptually on other versions of Minecraft. Adding them to Bedrock mobile would show respect for the mobile player base, improve accessibility, and move Bedrock closer to true cross-platform parity. 📱✊
