Gravel in desert villages

replace the path blocks in desert villages with gravel, i mean where did they get the dirt from to make paths? Gravel would be smarter and it would be almost stupidly simple to do and maybe make desert villages useful as they can be a gravel source. Or maybe cobblestone.
