Many players missed the promotion to obtain the new Zombie Horse Cape, and as a result its growing rarity may unintentionally encourage account hacking or theft, with people attempting to access other players’ accounts simply to obtain the cape. Making the cape available again would help reduce this risk by lowering the incentive to target rare, exclusive cosmetic items.
To address this, I propose giving players a second chance to claim the Zombie Horse Cape through a limited-time promotion. This could be done in a similar way to the Copper Cape, where players watched a TikTok or Twitch livestream and redeemed a code to unlock the cape. This approach is accessible, fair, and has already proven successful.
While this promotion would be similar in distribution to past rewards, it is still distinct from earlier examples like the Zombie Horse, which was a virtual in game feature rather than a cosmetic cape tied to a one time promotional event. Because the Zombie Horse Cape is a digital cosmetic linked to an online campaign, re-releasing it would not undermine the value of other limited or event-based rewards.
This solution offers a fair second opportunity for players who missed the original promotion while helping maintain account security and community health.
