Here are some of my ideas on new mechanics that could be added to the game to add to the "quality of life" i have to break this up into two parts to fit all the ideas, but here are a few:
Parrots:
tamed parrots can hold / be given one type of item (any amount) at a time untill a player takes it from them tamed parrots can pick up random items on the floor dropped by players when not sitting / on shoulder
Allays: allays can pick up music discs from chests when dropped by the player by swapping it out with one they are already holding and put them into jukeboxes for them to play allays fly towards you when you hold the item you gave them in your hand or off hand
Wolves: untamed wolves can be given raw meat to eat (like how foxes can hold onto food and eat it later) it can be used to tame a wolf, but it costs more than just using bones untamed wolves can pick up mutton dropped from sheep and eat it as well untamed wolves stay closer together in packs, and dont stray far from eachother tamed wolves dont follow skeletons to kill them when the player walks far enough away for them to teleport, or for the skeleton to be in range of the player tames wolves can bring gifts to the player when the player sleeps and the wolf is not sitting (like a cat)
