Mentality of People and Rabbits

It is well known that rabbits are one of the most neglected pets, with misinformation about their complex needs, housing and incredible personalities. The welfare of rabbits is incredibly important in the growing rabbit community. With Minecraft being so popular with adults and children, the way rabbits are depicted is disgusting. They are seen as nothing more than food, something to kill. Millions of rabbits die around the world due to people neglecting, abusing and believing they are nothing more than expendable which is something your game promotes. Children are very impressionable, so playing a game where a rabbit is purely there to kill does not help our cause of protecting and teaching people how wonderful these animals are. They are companions, they are light in a dark world, they are innocent and they are important. Please make changes so that rabbits can be seen as something to love instead of something to just kill. For example, rabbits eating carrots is a myth. In reality they are high in sugar and disrupt their complex digestive system. In fact carrots can kill rabbits, this feature should be removed from the game. Another is to make it so rabbits can be tamed so they no longer run away and maybe great the player as my real life rabbits always do. Please help change the way rabbits are depicted and inevitably mistreated. Their lives matter too and a game with big influence like Minecraft should support this
