Maps take up alot of inventory space

It would be fantastic to own a Map Book that when placed in the inventory ready line or hand, it would show that map as it currently does but also provide a small index image of the available maps in their cardinal position based on where the player is located.  A small box divided into 9 squares where each number in the box is a map in that direction with the current map being in the center (Map #6 in this example). As the player moves into a map they have that covers a different area (moving from Map #6 to Map #8 below) will cause that grid to update and automatically show the new map. Any areas in the grid that do not have a map will show a blank area.
