Version Numbers to (Major Update.Drops.Hotfixes)

I don't really like the idea that using years as the version number, it feels like it's abandoning the major updates for Minecraft.

Since Jeb has said Mojang has ideas for 100 years down the line, it would be strange how the version number will be like at 2100 and onwards.

I feel using major updates as a milestone would be nicer and better for the community, modding communities especially, though I know some who like going back to versions that has a certain major update or before it, so it wouldn't be confusing when they try to look for which update has certain features and not!
