The new Party System is available in the social drawer for Preview! Create a party with your friends and follow the party leader from world to world.

    Submission Title: Persistent Party "Hibernation" & Smart Rejoin System
    ​Category: Multiplayer / Social UI
    System: Bedrock Edition (Beta Party System)
    ​Summary:
    Currently, when a Party Leader disconnects or crashes, the party disbands immediately. This causes significant friction for large groups. I propose a "Hibernation" state that preserves the party list in storage, allowing for a seamless auto-rejoin when the leader returns.
    ​Proposed Features:
    ​Party Hibernation State: If a leader leaves, the party does not disband. Instead, members see a status: "Party is Unavailable: Leader is Offline." This keeps the group structure saved in the "Cloud/Storage" without requiring an active session.
    ​The "Resource-Style" Rejoin Notification: When the leader logs back in, instead of a manual invite, members receive a slide-down notification (similar to Resource Pack activation):
    ​"Leader is back! Rejoining party in 10s... [Cancel]"
    ​Auto-Action: If the user does nothing, they are pulled back into the party.
    ​Manual Control: The [Cancel] button allows users to opt out if they’ve started another activity.
    ​Active Override (Freedom of Movement):
    If a member joins a different party while the original is hibernating, they are automatically removed from the original group. This prevents "ghost" members and ensures the rejoin prompt only hits people who are actually waiting.

    Hello mojang. You should add voice chat to the party you guys added. You guy should also add, multiple voice chat settings such as, proxmity chat. Thankyou

    TheDCGaming2's idea on the "Persistent Party and Smart Rejoin System" is a must have.

    I think its extremely frustrating for members of a party to be automatically kicked out if the leader happens to disconnect for whatever reason. Unexpected disconnects and crashes happen from time to time especially on Bedrock, so having a way to mitigate the impact this issue has on the party system is severely needed.

    How do you guys use this party system, the social drawer has no party button there is no invite to party button anywhere, I'm using Minecraft 26.20 IOS

    Acho que não desviam mas mudar.. tá bom do jeito q tá.. na minha opinião deveria focar em corrigir erros básicos pra quando forem atualiza não reclamarem.

    (isso é uma opinião pessoal, pra melhorar a experiência dos q amam esse jogo tanto quanto eu)

    I really think a voice chat / proximity chat would be really cool, maybe with adjustable range settings in the group itself and private groups (a bit like the Java Mod). I feel like for a ´party´ feature, a voice chat just makes sense :D

    It would be really good if the UI on the chat menu could become the new ORE UI like the Party menu, also the marketplace UI feels really clunky on PS5 and a Confirm purchase option is much needed as I have wasted my Minecoins many times misclicking on the marketplace before.

    Give hosts more control: For example, swap hosts during a party so that each player can show their world as a host.

    More customization before party starts: For example, instead of just "Only Invites" and "Anyone", also add "Friends" and "Friends of Friends".

    Allow party settings to be changed during the middle of the party.

    I HAVE A MAJOR ISSUE I CANT RESOLVE!!!
    PS4 Preview 26.60.28 says I don't have access to Parties while another PlayStation player does

    Platform: PS4
    Minecraft version: Preview 26.60.28

    Issue: I cannot create or join Minecraft Parties.

    My cousin is playing Minecraft Preview on PS5, also on version 26.60.28. He has access to the Party System and can create Parties.

    I am able to join his Minecraft worlds normally, so regular multiplayer is working. However, when I open the Party tab in the Social Drawer, I get the message:

    "You don't have access to create or join a party right now."

    My cousin sent me a Party invitation while I was already in his world, but the invitation did not appear anywhere in the Social Drawer.

    My Microsoft/Xbox account is an adult account with the birthday set to 2000. My Xbox privacy and online-safety settings are all set to Allow.

    I have also completely deleted and reinstalled Minecraft Preview, but the Party access problem remains.

    Both players are now on the exact same Preview version, 26.60.28.

    Expected behavior: I should be able to receive my cousin's Party invitation and create or join Parties.

    Actual behavior: The Party tab says I don't have access, and Party invitations sent by my cousin do not appear.

    This appears to affect my PS4 account specifically because regular multiplayer works and another PlayStation player on the same Preview version has Party access.
