Next major update in 2026

For the next major update, version 1.23 in June 2026. Mounts of Mayhem rebranded as 1.22 instead of 1.21.11. New blocks: charred baked potato bricks (with variants like slabs, stairs, and walls, crafted from 9 baked potatoes), concrete slabs and stairs, nether brick fence gate. New items: bedrock armor, weapons, and tools (upgrade from netherite in a smithing table, use respawn anchors fully charged to destroy bedrock), ender dragon music disc (dropped from defeating the ender dragon in 1 hit with the mace), list me as the composer as I requested it, mob heads of any mob, not just players, zombies, creepers, skeletons, wither skeletons, piglins, and the Ender Dragon. Add seafoam dye (obtained from glow squids). New mobs: pig wither (summoned by 3 pig heads and 4 soul sand, has 20 hp and inflicts weakness effect, summons pigs instead of wither skeletons, no drops). New food item: warden torso (kill warden with silk touch sword), new game mechanic: endermen crying when dragon is defeated, debug stick and spectral arrows in bedrock, Java versions of commands in bedrock except for /effect. add /language and /skin commands. When you translate the game to Spanish, brush is cepillo instead of pincel and enderman is hombre de ender. Blazes now spawn in stony peaks. New biomes: ender jungle, gravel biome (all gravel from surface to bottom of deepslate), glowstone forest. new ore: silver ore, topaz ore.

    also, add an unhealthy effect when you eat eight cookies in one go without your hunger bar going full before you eat all 8 cookies.

    warden tnt is crafted from 4 warden torsos and 1 normal tnt, and throwable tnt is crafted from 2 normal tnt

    put icons on potion types, add pig orb ore, raw and cooked pork heads (dropped from pigs using fortune sword), and you can make pig portal frames or insert pig orbs into pig heads to eat or to activate the pig portal to the pig dimension, which have pigs as the sole residents and pork blocks all over, either cooked or raw. make the ancient city portal activatable with heart of the deep (dropped from warden), and the otherside dimension where there is so many sculk.

    A moderation system that gives and takes Minecoins, and gives achievements. With the new moderation system, give Rakxn and Banana73620 18000 minecoins and every achievement for this thankful request. How did we get here, a furious cocktail, when pigs end (cook a pig over an end portal) etc. are coming to bedrock. Make a cooler anti-piracy screen.

    add ender torches, ender lanterns, ender sand, copper fire, copper campfires, ender campfires, ender lava, and the ender shores biome

    new structures: your ender neighborhood (end villages), end shipwrecks

    new items: copper spear, bedrock horse armor, bedrock nautilus armor, howdah (for camels and elephants)

    new mob: elephant (carries 8 chests per side, mounts up to four players, found in savanna biome, drops ivory used for upgrading gear), it can store water in its trunk, and it can be used to farm obsidian near lava pits and fill pools.

    new weapon: boomerang (comes in eight variants; wooden, stone, iron, gold, diamond, Netherite, bedrock, and copper.) crafting recipe is 3 planks, cobblestone, ingots, or upgrade in smithing table. one material in the 7th slot, one in the 9th slot, and 1 in the 5th one. Warden TNT deals 250 damage.

    add jeb_ wool, carpets, beds, and banners, easels, pictures in written books from the book and quill item, dragon rises when killed just like in java in bedrock, cooked Steve food item (from meme when player head is smelted).

    new game mechanics: naming a mob "PG-13" has it drop more than 12 of its items and XP, name any mob, including ender dragon etc.

    new boss: copper snake (found in copper veins)

    new mechanics: elytra trims, elytra is armor, horse/nautilus/wolf armor trims

    new totems: totem of dying, totem of unbinding (removes curse of binding), totem of unvanishing (removes curse of vanishing)

    new blocks: vertical slabs, quarter blocks, seafoam glazed terracotta, seafoam terracotta, seafoam bed, seafoam Shulker box

    new items: pig orb, bedrock shards, bedrock ingots, bedrock upgrade smithing template

    new game mechanics: double ender chests, naming ender chests give it its own storage system and transfer system.

    the maximum stack limit is 99, not 64 as of the next major update... 1.23: The Minecraft Revolution. THe update logo would be just revolution, and it would make sense if paired with Minecraft logo.

    new blocks: mossy cobbled deepslate, mossy deepslate bricks (slab, stair, and wall variants available)

    new mob: jaguar (behavior: neutral blocks tall: 1.3 abilities: pouncing tamable: yes, when tamed, you can give it belly rubs, and it purrs cute-ly. It gives you the Jaguar Omen effect, if you rub ten times without stopping for a single second.)

    you tame the new jaguar mob by feeding it warden torsos (dropped from the warden with silk touch sword or mace), and the jaguar mob drops echo shards.

    the unhealthy effect is "diabetes", as it is slowness + weakness, as Mojang put an effect based off medical conditions before, which is nausea.

    Warden tnt animations have the warden torsos get eaten to dissapear before it detonates with sonic boom particles and explosions after 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

    warden tnt breaks bedrock except from end gateways and the exit portal. make end gateway blocks in the creative inventory with end portal blocks and the exit portal.

    new biome: lush peaks 

    new game mechanic: warden torsos can be crafted out of 8 ghast tears and 1 echo shard, wardens run away from jaguars, jaguar mobs only spawn in jungle and lush peaks biomes.

    retexture end crystals into 3D when held in main hand or put on shelves, maces into 3D when held in main hand or put on shelves, and the same goes for armor pieces. new move: long-jumping: press H and F8 to perform. Also retexture player head to look like Steve's head.

    add closets to the game, crafted from an armor stand, 4 chests, and four wooden planks of any type including the new mushroom wood), and you can store armor and items with 8 storage containers and a built-in armor stand, it is 4 blocks tall and 4 blocks wide and 1-2 blocks long. It says "closet" when you open it, just like chests and furnaces. and the word "closet" can be translated if you go change language in settings and open it again.

    all of the new biomes: ender jungle (end), glowstone forest (nether), heavy core deltas (nether), ender shores (end), lush peaks (overworld), gravel biome (overworld, has trees made of purpur pillars and glass).

    all of the new mobs: pig wither, copper snake, jaguar, elephant, ender villager

    do an animated trailer just like Village and Pillage, Nether Update, etc. It would be long. Do a Minecraft Live as well with a catchy song just like the Happy Ghast song.
