That the chunks load in with a fade in makes the loading in of chunks feel way slower.
If instead like regular if it just *plops* in I get the visual information faster, therefore the old way feels a lot faster. It also takes away from the rigidity that I love so much about the game. Strict coordinates that follow full blocks, with additional functionality beyond the comma, is another.
Except for mobs and entities anything that moves such as blocks I believe should be similar do stop motion: pistons, doors, lighting a portal, breaking a block is even done in stop motion steps.
The fog in the distance also take away from my immersion. I often feel like I'm in a digital realm and I love that.
At least Make them a toggle.
I do like the idea to have the f3 screen have toggles but the options it gives are ether have too much information or too little. I'd like to see what block I'm looking at without 15 rows of information.
and to have the places were I can expect the information to come from stay. Keep XYZ on the left.
