- The Monklins -- End Ecosystem Concept
The End is visually unique, but it lacks natural ecosystems compared to
the Overworld and the Nether. This suggestion adds a small, balanced End
ecosystem with a new neutral mob, simple wildlife, and theme-based
biomes, without changing the core identity of the End.
The Monklin is a bipedal monkey, primate-like End creature with Piglin-like
intelligence.
Spawns in groups of 3--6.
Neutral unless attacked.
Baby and adult variants.
Not angered by players looking at Endermen.
Lives near chorus plants.
Can hold and use simple tools.
Players can trade with Monklins using End items like chorus fruit and
End stone. In return, they give small balanced rewards such as worn
End-stone tools or food. Their focus is survival and ecology, not
economy.
Optional gamerule: If enabled, Monklins can place basic blocks, build
simple furnaces, and cook hunted food.
They do not spawn on the main End island. They only appear in new outer
End biomes with lower Enderman density.
- New End Wildlife
Enderucus: A large omnivorous End reptile, huntable for meat.
Endirpirus: A passive, tapir-like herbivore hunted by Monklins and
Enderucus.
This creates a simple End food chain.
