The fairy melon could only be obtained using a Sniffer. This would be a pink water melon and the fruit would have an orange center. The seeds would be pink. Eating a fairy melon restores 5 (πππ) hunger and 6.0 hunger saturation, which is equal to bread. It also clears the blindness effect. You could also make glistening fairy melons and make healing potions with them (just like normal melons).
Melon Block
The blocks could be used to make house walls or be used as a floor pattern. It is as durable as obsidian and you need a diamond pickaxe to break it. Fairy melon blocks cannot be destroyed by explosions.
You could create a carved fairy melon block which is identical to a carved pumpkin, but it also provides armor protection equal to a diamond helmet.
