hello, lets get straight into things, i think the new naming system is weird, so i propose this one instead "J/B#.#.#", let me explain, this system would tell you what game edition you are talking about, what update you are on, what drop you are on, and what hotfix you are on, for example, if you were choosing the new version of minecraft java, you would get the "J" at the beginning, lets say the system reset for the new system, if you were gonna play bedrock, and it is a game drop that is released, it would be "B0.1.0", saying it is the first drop that was added between updates (how i would differentiate large and smaller content additions), lets say drop 1 got a hotfix, it would now be "B0.1.1", i also propose that at the end of every 2 years, we get an update (large content addition), this would mean that on average, the players would get around 8 drops before the next update, then it would reset to drop 0 after each update.
