Purple dye from nautilus shells

Purple dye currently doesn't have a single source, and a semi-realistic one could be from nautilus shells. In the real world, Tyrian purple dye was made by crushing crushing thousands of sea snail shells in a slow and expensive process. I think it would be cool if you could craft a nautilus shell into one purple dye, as they are much bigger, but similar shells! It would also mirror the historical rarity of real purple dye, as the player is unlikely to come across too many shells.
