Make The Glare See Hostiles Through Walls

The Glare as a mob didn't have much of a real use when first introduced in the mob vote, so I was trying to think of a way it could be made so everyone would want to find one.

The perfect solution I came upon was to make it so that when you hear something make a noise, such as a hostile mob or flowing water/lava, you can use the Glare to somehow look through the blocks and see the vague outline of whatever is making that noise. It would work in a similar way to a bell in a village during a raid letting you see all the illagers rampaging about, but using a live creature instead of an inanimate object. As for where they could be found, lush caves is a good candidate. 

I do believe this would be a huge game chamger and hope people like the idea so much to upvote it enough so Mojang takes notice.
